Her passion for fundraising sparked her and her sister Nicola to begin the Walk of Life in 2005\, and it has developed and grown ever since into the beautiful celebration that it is today with thousands of walkers stepping out for an incredible cause. We are now a\, not quite traditional\, wind quintet as we have an alto sax and euphonium instead of French horn and bassoon\, so we create a totally unique sound. \nWe play everything from classical to film music\, jazz and pop and are very honoured to join you at this brilliant event.” – Alison Kent\, Take Five \nOldfield Voices \nOldfield Voices provides pupils of all abilities from all year groups with the opportunity to sing! We conquer the first 9 peaks of our challenge. Trekking distance – approx. 12 miles / target time 12 hours. \nDay 3 \nRed Screes to Great Dodd. We summit the remaining 15 peaks before congratulations all round and our onward journeys home. Trekking distance – approx. 16 miles / target time 12 hours.
